July 2017
Greetings from the Grand Vision Baptist Church in Bocoyna, Chihuahua, Mexico. We are thankful to the Lord for His blessings upon us in the month of July.
YOUTH CAMP
The most outstanding blessing during the month of July was our annual youth camp for which we have been praying. God is good, His blessings were great. There were 145 campers in attendance. Sixteen pastors from around the country brought their young people. The messages were centered around the theme “No Turning Back.” Hebrews 10:9 “But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.” Four were saved, three made decisions to be baptized and four surrendered their lives for full-time service. Almost every camper, pastor and Christian worker consecrated their lives to be more faithful in serving the Lord. “TO GOD BE THE GLORY, GREAT THINGS HE HATH DONE.”
BROTHER BONIFACIO UPDATE
We are also thankful that Missionary Bonifacio`s surgery went well. He has follow-up appointments, and we are grateful to the Lord that He has supplied the funds for his surgery and ongoing treatments. Keep praying that he will be able to walk and soon be back in his field of service, Obregon, Sonora, taking the Gospel to the Mayo and Pima Indians.
PANALACHI MISSION
The Lord blessed Missionary Mario Zavala and his family during their annual Daily Vacation Bible School with good attendance. Several Tarahumara children were saved. Pray especially that God will supply materials to begin building their church building. At present, they still have services in their home.
NATAHUACHI MISSION
Six people from the Rock of Ages Baptist Mission were baptized on July 23rd. Brother Eliezer Martinez is in charge. They are also in need of prayer that God will supply funding to purchase materials for the roof of their church building.
NEEDED RAIN
Another great blessing that we have received is the abundant rain God has sent. Everything is green and beautiful. The farmers in this area are rejoicing
PRAYER REQUESTS
The following is a list of our current prayer requests:
- Pray for the returning students and also for the new enrollees in our middle school, high school and Bible Institute. Classes begin on August 14th. Pray for the salvation of those students that haven’t been saved.

- Pray for the salvation of souls in Grand Vision Baptist Church and the four missions
We deeply appreciate your faithful prayers and financial support. Please continue to keep God’s work here in Mexico in your prayers.
Sincerely in Him,
