Greetings once again from the Grand Vision Baptist Church and its missions. The Lord continues to bless the work here in the area. Souls are being saved, and His word continues to work in the hearts of the people.
Thank you for all your prayers and support. I am happy to report that my health has improved. I was able to come out and visit my doctors in the US. The Lord has led them and guided them. I am now almost back to one hundred percent! I look forward to continue serving Him. Praise God!
Pastor Jose Martinez led a group of about thirty people, including students from our Bible Institute and full-time workers, on a missionary trip to Batopilas, Chihuahua, located in the remote mountainous area of Northwest Mexico. For many it was an unforgettable experience. They spent a week witnessing to the Tarahumara Indians in the area. We are happy to report that ten people accepted Christ as their personal savior. One young man, who attended the Bible Institute previously but dropped out, renewed his commitment to serve God. We thank God for providing the needed funds and for his protection during the trip.
LA JUNTA MISSION UIPDATE
The mission in La Junta celebrated its fourth anniversary during the month of April. About fifty people from the area attended the special service. Pastor Jose Martinez brought the message and many people came forward to renew their commitment to the Lord. Brother Hector was recognized for his faithfulness. He is 86-years old. We had a great time of fellowship and celebration for this wonderful blessing.

Brother Carlos Madrigal continues to visit churches to raise support. Up to this point he and his wife Belem have visited sixty churches and several have committed to help support them. Please keep them in your prayers as they continue with their plans to serve the Lord on the mission field.
The following is a list of our current prayer requests:
- Pray for our upcoming graduations for our Christian School and Bible Institute students. That God may guide them and protect them.
- Pray for our missions and for the faithful missionaries in the field. That God may provide for their needs.
- Pray for our annual Youth Camp. That young people may surrender their lives to serve the Lord.
We deeply appreciate your faithful prayers and financial support. Please continue to keep God’s work here in Mexico in your prayers.
Sincerely in Him,
Mrs. Joan Kahler
