Greetings from the Grand Vision Baptist Church in Bocoyna, Chihuahua, Mexico. God has been working miracles. After thirty years of witnessing to the people in the village of Bocoyna, many are responding to the Gospel. Six were saved this month, others have made decisions to be baptized.

ROCK OF AGES BAPTIST MISSION

God is blessing Brother Eliezer and the mission in Natahuachi. Three adults were baptized and three people were saved. A few Bible Institute students and members of the GVBC will be going to work on the construction of the new church building. God has supplied the materials for the construction. The mayor and the local people donated two tons of cement. One of our supporting churches donated tin for the roof. Thank you!

PANALACHI BAPTIST MISSION

God continues to bless Brother Mario and his family in Panalachi. They average 35 in attendance and many new people have attended the services for the first time. Some families walk three hours to get to the mission. Pray for Brother Mario and family as they faithfully visit other communities. Especially pray for the communities of Ocorochi and Ojeachi. Also pray for Angelica`s health.

EBEN-EZER BAPTIST MISSION

A special service was held on April 2nd to celebrate their 3rd anniversary. The choir from the GBVC in Bocoyna sang and Pastor Jose Martinez brought the message. There were a lot of first-time visitors. They are especially grateful for the new chairs donated by the Horeb Baptist Church of Torreon, Coahuila.

PRAYERS ANSWERED

We praise the Lord for supplying food for the cafeteria, Maseca for tortillas and for supplying construction materials for the mission in Natahuachi.

PRAYER REQUESTS

The following is a list of our current prayer requests:

  • Pray for Brother Adriel Martinez and family. They lived in Xalapa, Veracruz for six months searching for God`s will to begin a new mission. Despite all efforts, God has closed the doors. They are now here in Bocoyna serving the Lord in the church and Bible Institute, trusting that the Lord to lead them to the place God would have them work.
  • Pray for an increase in our monthly support. We appreciate those of you that helped with special offerings last month.
  • Pray for Missionary Bonifacio`s health. He has had a set-back because of the fall he had two years ago.

We deeply appreciate your faithful prayers and financial support. Please continue to keep God’s work here in Mexico in your prayers.

Sincerely in Him,

Mrs. Joan Kahler
